My work is driven by my interest in contradictions. Contradictions between issues like ratio and emotion,
reality and surreality, identity and anonymity, uniqueness and copy, etc.
Based on my emotions I make paintings and drawings driven by physical gesture and emotions.
Based on my rationality I work with computer programs and digital techniques.
The tension between 'self-making' and 'random origination' intrigues me and forms the basis for the way in which I work. Whether it is through painting, drawing, digital techniques or installations.
From my interest in anything beyond the known limits, I have studied and exhibited in countries such as the Netherlands,
England, France and Senegal.
